The company is also active in the sector of tourism and real estate. A significant building owned by AKTER AKINITA SA is "PROXENIO" in Halepa, Chania. It is a neoclassic preservable building that was bought in order to be renovated and utilized as a luxury hotel.

AKTER BIO SA was founded in June 2004 with AKTER SA as its major shareholder. The company’s main object is undertaking and execution of all types of technical projects both for the public and the private sector but mostly for industrial type projects and steel structures.
